Remove notification?

I was thinking about removing the notification that appears in the notification 
toolbar. 

It provides the same information as widget (on/off state). I also occupies that 
area for pretty long 
time and several users wanted to remove it. 

Or maybe we can think about removing all wording form notification and keep 
only icon?
Any ideas?

I'm writing a main activity now with some customizable options. So we can add a
switcher (show or not to show notification).
Another way is to show notification if a user switch apn state from main 
activity,
but not from widget (there's already possible to do so, i added parameter that
determines nofication creation)

What is the UI that you prefer? Can you elaborate in Wiki or somewhere? Review 
after commit is ok, though.

I just removed text displayed next to notification. There is an option for 
disabling notification at all, and that 
seems to me to be the right way.
