Cannot pause/play netflix streams after installing Safari 4 (final release)

What steps will reproduce the problem? running Safari 3, I had no problems with 
Understudy.  
After installing Safari 4 today, I cannot pause/play any Netflix streams.  
Menus still work, but 
neither the remote nor the keyboard work any longer to pause/play a streaming 
netflix movie.

What is the expected output or result?
