What steps will reproduce the problem?
Launching Front Row on my Macbook Pro through 30" Cinema Display. Launch Front 
Row on computer, Select Understudy, Select my Netflix account, choose movie, 
start to play movie, gray box appears over entire screen.

What is the expected output or result?
No gray box.

What do you see instead?
A gray box. Please see attached file for screen shots

Very odd. I'm not experiencing this but I'll look around a bit. Can you give me 
any other details, like what version of OS X and Safari you have?

I want to reiterate that I am not using a television screen to watch front row, 
I am using my 30" monitor that is hooked to my Macbook Pro. Any help would be 
appreciated. Let me know if there is anything else you would like me to do to 
trouble shoot. I also use a program called Mikogo that will allow me to share 
my screen with you if that would be helpful.

I just ran a test. The problem only occurs when using my 30" Cinema Display. 
The gray box does not appear on my laptop screen if I disconnect the 30" 
monitor. Any ideas on how to fix?

I'm really baffled by this one, but there are a couple things I might try (if 
you haven't already):
* a different external monitor
* changing the display settings (mirroring)
* playing video in safari on the external monitor
* changing any Universal Access settings you have (in the System Preferences)

I only have one machine to test on, and it's running 10.6. It's always possible 
that upgrading will help.
