Unable to select individual episodes of TV shows from Netflix Instant Queue

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Open Front Row, Open Understudy, Netflix instant queue opens automatically from 
there without allowing me to select anything else (that's another issue 
alltogether), Open any television show on Netflix instant queue.

What is the expected output or result?
I expect to see a list of seasons, which would in turn go to the episodes in 
that season, or perhaps just a list of episodes.

What do you see instead?
An episode of the show automatically starts playing.  It appears that the 
episode that plays is the one that immediately follows the last one I watched.  
Trouble is, I don't always want to watch the entire series in order, and 
sometimes I like to rewatch episodes.
