Add logging configuration #1

Log to screen and maybe set up external logging package like sentinel or something like that, so when we fire off a warning, we find out about it.

Made the changes - logging to file in root project directory as well as to screen. Want to have an alert setup so that emails get fired off for certain events, but tracking that in separate issue
