We will want alerts when:

  1. Whole system is off
  2. CPU temperature is high
  3. HDD temperatures are high in Synology
  4. The link to an instrument goes down or back up
  5. Temperatures in the water/ocean conditions are at thresholds Paul defines
  6. Lights die
