Solid Yellow Light on Startup #27

I tried to use just the firmware in your folder and it worked fine. Wherera I used both the test folder and firmware, it stucked there and no response.

At first I though it should be the configure parametres causing the issue, but after I used all the default parameters, the issue was still there.

My model is 24CN and I am pretty sure that this model is compatible with the hack as I saw someone succeed in the issues list with 24CN model.

I tried downgraded the firmware to 20160416xxxxx, and then following the manual, but failed again.

I really do not know how to figure this out....

It is dispiriting as I am a programmer....

I think I got the reason to cause this issue. I tried the hacked firmware itselt, but the downgrade was not completed. The camera started up as normally and the home.bin file was renamed to home.bin_YiBad.

However, I tried to downgrade to the 20170606xxxx firmware, and the downgraded successfully. Then I tried some diffenrent firmware based on 2.1.xxxxxxx. Most of them can't be downgraded. I really donot know why. Perhaps the Yi team changes the downgrade rule.

Finally I sovled this issue. Two things relative to this issue. One is just use 8GB or 16GB micro SD card, otherwise you will meet the home.bin_YiBad file (the home.bin file will be stransferred to home.bin_YiBad and the manually downgrade firmware will fail). Another one is # Do Not use notepad ++**** to edit the confige file as all the people suggest to use this tool but the yellow light issue was caused by this editor. I had to reclone the folder again and used the VScode to sovle it. (Atom and Sublim are both fine)
