feat: added import alias #16

I wanted to see if I can contribute something more meaningful but for now I just tried to make the code a bit more readable.

Let me know what you think, and if I missed something or there is something that can be improved.

Hey @Sa-ar - thanks for this! I struggled to get type aliases set up but definitely something to get sorted in the future. I'm working on a few big changes and once those are sorted, would love to get this done. Cheers!
