Old README was better #104

Describe the solution you'd like Bring old README back. It was clearer than the wiki. It was literally perfect tutorial.

I liked the ability to scroll through various sections.

now I need to load different pages of the github wiki? the amount of wasted time flipping through that is quite cumbersome for no reason. loading all the text at once is way faster than clicking wiki pages that need to load each page every single time. seriously there are faster websites than github's bloated mess.

Old readme was miles better. I miss the old internet where everything can be read on a single page. So annoyed from this change. complete waste of screen space for me, I used to be able to read multiple sections at once, now I need to open 3-5 windows to read the same amount of sections.(with increased "empty space" from the window toolbars for Firefox and whatever padding that github introduces on top) So cumbersome to resize these windows and all that.

Instead I now need to copy and paste all the various sections into my own personal notes and periodically check if there are changes in the wiki.

Changing the README was necessary because many new features have been added to Ligolo-ng and making a single page would make the documentation unreadable.

Do I need to remind you that this is an OpenSource project, and that, in addition to using Git, which gives you access to the old Readme, I benevolently maintain it? What's the “time wasted” on my side compared to yours on this change, which unfortunately cost you an extra 5 seconds?

I'm going to make some changes to the README/documentation, so that it's clearer, but please stop behaving as if you'd paid for this software.

In my opinion, GitHub doesn't offer the User Interface/Experience for a wiki.

However, I understand your sentiment that you wished to have easier time to make changes to different sections of the old read me and came up with the wiki idea. I hope for better, but sometimes I guess I need to just do it myself. I already wrote a program to take advantage of cloning the wiki and python to parse the content from GitHub's wiki to condense back into a singular markdown file.(at least GitHub has the ability to clone the wiki)

I appreciate your great software, spectacular programming prowess. just not my cup of tea GitHub's wiki implementation is in the current state when it comes to multiple pages.

Not a single person here is behaving as if they had paid for this software. What happened here is that certain people, including me, had been presented with a rare piece of great software and an even rarer concise and to the point "How-to". Then, for one reason or another you decided to take that away from these people for no reason from their perspective.

Thank you for linking the old readme, I appreciate it and as maybe so many others. Including a simple "how-to" is certainly more approachable than a wiki.

That being said, I don't believe there's any reason to become seemingly angry / annoyed with this reaction. It's basic psychology really.

@ReKon64 Your issue was clear and completely understandable, and didn't annoy me. What annoyed me was the comments that were added to this issue, arguing why the old internet was better. I have taken your remarks into account, and I will switch to another documentation format (readthedocs or gitbooks).

I am reopening this issue for follow-up.
