A button (labled WP or POI) opposite Pause. When pressing this button, while recording a Gpx file, a menue appears for small notes and what kind of Poi this is. Attaching photos and/or videos is possible. Check out Earth Mapper App to get an impression what i mean.

Hello, As an OpenStreetMap contributor, this kind of feature is usefull for me. But I'm get used to take a photo of the POI (or just to remember the type of track I'm hiking on). Several software can put the photos on the right place of a map with their metadata (either with their coordinates or with the combination of their timestamp and the GPX track). It could help to be able to attach a text/sound/photo/video to a spot on a track, but how to keep them in the exported GPX file?

Adding the photo as a waypoint description in html format

Hi, I had a quick look at GPX standard ans waypoint don't seems to have a pictures option. Comments can be added, maybe it could be a reference to a photo taken by the device .
