Hy, it would be nice to choose the order of the polynomial fit (<=5), as sometimes we know that the theoretical curve of the measurement should be e.g. of order 2 (as for the DCZ sweeps, which are currently using poly5 and therefore falsify the actual minima.

Yes this should be implemented. I am working on it!

The fit function is now implemented (5565bda73610a835c42d63a3f3273c2a04c7c93d), but I have to implement that function with the fit procedure and everything connected to that (see 94afe0b9d940745eca91babdaab804c4c39b3006). Clearly a design flaw, that's why I'm working on PIGORv2 btw.
