Hi, i have the same issue as discussed in the previous post: https://github.com/nicokaiser/rpi-audio-receiver/issues/99 If i completely disconnect the bluetooth connection from my phone/laptop to the raspberry pi, the is the error with wrong pin or password. I think i installed the newest version of this library, but it semms that it does not work. Can anyone help me? thanks

This is strange, you should never need to enter a PIN or password. I’ll have a look at it next week.

Maybe not related, but I also have to enter PIN. But not with new Bluetooth USB dongle. This is what I did from the beginning:

  1. Installed the script with Bluetooth support only. Was trying to connect with onboard Bluetooth. Was able to connect without PIN, but music was not playing.
  2. Then I got old Bluetooth v2.0 USB Dongle. I had to use enter PIN in Raspberry. Was following this tutorial https://superuser.com/questions/1160934/bluetoothctl-connects-and-disconnects-repeatedly/1199595#1199595
  3. I had some signal issues with that old dongle and I bought new one, with Bluetooth v4.2. I unplug the old one, connected new one and now everyone is able to connect without PIN
