How to install glances using source method #2049

Anyone can help me install using source method with all plugin install?

$ wget https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/archive/vX.Y.tar.gz -O - | tar xz
$ cd glances-*
# python setup.py install

I did install it and working however the -w is not available.

Hi @ranrinc

it depends of your operating system...

The Python lib needed to have all plugins is here: https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/blob/develop/optional-requirements.txt

Any reason to install it from the source ?

Need to downgrade my Glances to the previous version so it work on my main proxmox machine to be monitor by Home-Assistant.

Yes need to run it on Debian 11

NVM find out how to do it. I hope this will be fixed on the next release. Thanks
