Is it planned to officially make access available to EyeGesture and 
EyeGestureManager, or better yet even give us raw access to the IR eye sensor?

Sorry for the delay in updating this issue... This was fixed with the release 
of the ACTION_ON_HEAD_STATE_CHANGED sticky broadcast Intent:
  https://developers.google.com/glass/develop/gdk/reference/com/google/android/glass/content/Intents#ACTION_ON_HEAD_STATE_CHANGED
