Hey Nicolas:

I addressed the issues we discussed in #redis on IRC, and included a new entry for the conf struct for server verbosity. Check it out, make it nice, and merge it in! You might want to tweak a couple things.

I've merged the log as well as my changes on top of it, in the slog branch for now. Could you please take a look?
