hello again, you can change in the configuration of the template the page id of the menu. If it's sidebar, then just type sidebar in it
Thank you for your quick reply! I really love your template! 😃 The problem is, that MainMenu is only valid for the nearest namespace. With autoindexing plugins you want to have one global sidebar which can be populated with an automatic index of the whole wiki as a navigation menu, similar to a sitemap (in DokuWiki called index).
So the question is, where to put the global sidebar? (that is shown throughout all namespaces, without having to set it up each time, a new namespace is created)?
I've tested the acmenu plugin, and when I put <acmenu>
in my mainmenu page it works. Do you use the translation plugin ? With this plugin active, I've got the kind of issue you're facing.

Okay, thanks for this hint! It indeed conflicts with the translation plugin. I updated the kiwiki template homepage accordingly. Great! 😃
I wish for integration of a sidebar page (id=sidebar) into your mainmenu page (id=mainmenu) for support of automatic index plugins such as "acmenu" plugin. This would be awesome!
