Add support for the ElectriQ CD20PRO-LE-V2 Dehumidifier #38

Hi,

First of all thanks for a great project. I have an ElectriQ CD20PRO-LE-V2 Dehumidifier which is Tuya based and is similar in operation to the Goldair models, although the DP IDs aren't exactly the same.

Would it be possible to add support? I can provide DP IDs etc as required

Thanks again

Another vote for this as just purchased it

Hi @marrold and @ardenking, sorry for the delay.

I'm in two minds about adding support for non-Goldair devices. On the one hand, they don't fit the brief because for discovery purposes it's focused only to Goldair devices. On the other hand, there may not be another integration that handles it.

Does this device connect to the Tuya cloud, and would it then work with the native Tuya Cloud integration?

Sorry to @nikrolls, I don't want to be pulling users away after the hard work you put in getting this off the ground, but I have a fork at make-all/tuya-local, which initially started as me adding in a Kogan heater I have to this integration, and has already expanded to several other brands of heaters and heatpumps. I have a few devices in the queue at the moment, as I am doing some refactoring to make it easier to add them, but that should be finished in the next week or two. If you can provide all the DPS info, ranges, preset options, etc I will add it to the queue to be added soon.

@make-all I was actually thinking of suggesting that repo but I couldn't remember whose it was. I think it's a good option, if for no other reason than I've painted myself in a corner with the naming! (And also don't have as much time as I probably need to start maintaining it for the numerous other brands that also use Tuya.)

make-all/tuya-local now has support for this model. The integration is not yet in the default HACS store, but you can add the repository https://github.com/make-all/tuya-local from the HACS Integrations "Custom repositories" menu. Configuration is all via the UI, you'll need the IP address, device name and local key to get started with config.
