Description

Create level 1 for workout game

Task List

[ ] Step 1: Add background elements
[ ] Step 2: Add obstacles
- [ ] Ground obstacles for sprite to jump over (-5% for running into obstacle)
- [ ] Cupcake/asteroid elements that can hit the player randomly (-5% for getting hit by asteroid)
[ ] Step 3: Add sprite based on equippedBaby-- type alpha, affected by gravity
[ ] Step 4: Add joystick
[ ] Step 5: Add stars/coins to replenish health (+10% for each star)
[ ] Step 6: Add health/point bar (out of 100% or 100 points)
[ ] Step 7: Add 'exit' button, which should navigate back to the MainMenuScene
[ ] Step 8: If user runs out of health before completing level, show level failed popup with time taken and points
[ ] Step 9: if user reaches goal element with health > 0, show level completed popup with time taken and points
[ ] Step 10: if user chooses to go to next level, navigate to game scene level 2
[ ] Step 11: if user chooses to go to repeat level, navigate to game scene level 1 again
[ ] Step 12: If user chooses to exit, navigate back to the MainMenuScene
[ ] Step 13: Upon successful completion, set gameCompleted boolean to true, which should add a heart to the baby's currentHearts in the database

Acceptance Criteria

[ ] Background, obstacles, health replenish element, health bar, goal/level complete match sketch
[ ] Sprite corresponds to the once chosen in the main menu
[ ] Joystick functions as intended
[ ] Hitting an obstacle or asteroid depletes health by 5%
[ ] Collecting star/coin replenishes 10% health
[ ] If health reaches 0, 'level failed' pop-up appears
[ ] When game over pop up appears, user can quit back to main menu or try again
[ ] When player successfully reaches goal element, they can return to main menu
[ ] When player successfully reaches goal element, gameCompleted boolean is set to true
[ ] If user is successful, level completed popup shown with time taken and points
[ ] User is able to repeat the level, go on to the next level, or exit
[ ] Finishing the game adds a heart to the baby's status
