There is no need to include alt because it's not very important information and doesn't add any value to the diagram.

Reason for disagreement: I think that using alt would make the diagram clearer because:

• Just by looking at the diagram alone, the developer would not expect a popup window containing a warning message to appear if the alias(es) set is/are invalid.
• If the input is invalid, just by looking at the diagram, the developer may think that nothing would happen, i.e. no pop-up etc, if there are invalid alias(es). This seems to differ from the actual behaviour in which an Alert window pops up.

I believe this could hinder the developer because:

• The developer may develop an inaccurate understanding of the existing code base as the behaviour described by the diagram seems to differ from the actual behaviour.
• The developer would need to look at the source code to understand the application's exact behaviour.
