"Save As" Button #5

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Please implement the "Save as" button, which will perform a deep copy of the
currently open project, creating a new project with the specified name.

Note that if the open project has been modified without pressing "save", the
current changes should not be written to the old project, only to the new
project specified in the "save as". i.e. the same as common apps such as MS
word.

Make sure that the majority of the copy operation is performed on the server,
not on the client, only the "dirty" objects on the client need to be written
back.

Do this on a per-schematic basis first. (Have a "Save as" button within the
the transmission & distribution button groups). This should allow you to copy
a schematic within the project.

Once that's done, add it for the project so that a project can be copied.
