Hello! This is a very good idea and it seems to be already implemented - thank you very much! :-) But the way it is implemented leads to a lot of subfolders with images (one per note) visible in Obsidian and thus cluttering the left pane of the user interface. I think it would be much better, if you could save the images in a configurable path exactly like the plugin "Custom Attachment Location", https://github.com/RainCat1998/obsidian-custom-attachment-location does it. This would collect all image folders in one subfolder and make Obsidians left pane much mory tidy. Thanks a lot and have a wonderful 2023! :-)
You can use obsidian-local-images-plus. It has the option to do what you want.
Hello! This plugin is convenient when I stores articles from web page, however I wish image files be close to the .md file, and don't want them all in a common folder, because that makes images from different .md files hard to distinguish, and it's also hard if I need to copy a .md file along with associated image files to outside of Obsidian. So is there any way to config this plugin so that it can store downloaded image files in subfolder 'attachment' or any name in the folder containing the .md file? Thank you very much!
