Areas & Modes seem to overlaps rather than play nicely? #971

Bug description

Basically as described here--

My areas, now that I've split them up from one 'house' don't seem to play nicely together within modes?

Seems like they aren't really designed to be used together?

?

Tried to use the HA forums
