1 month ago I went ahead and changed a drive to be G: (where my computer is looking for the file) and it works again, but if I try to remap the default open program to the nifskope installed on my A: it will not switch. I don't know how to resolve this issue, please someone help... :( I thought this was supposed to be able to be used from anywhere?
I'm sorry if this isn't a nifskope error exactly. I'm on Windows 11, I upgraded my SSD and moved the nifskope folder to my new drive. Now when I double click a .nif windows 11 has it set to open with nifskope as default. However, the icon is not using the correct image and it doesn't ever open the file, it just keeps asking what program I want to use to open the .nif.
I was hoping I could do an uninstall and reinstall to fix this issue, but there is no uninstall option. I deleted the folder and redownloaded and extracted and tried to set the default to another program then reset to nifskope and I cannot resolve the issue. I'd greatly appreciate some help, thank you!
