Description

Currently there are no means to add new roles that courses could potentially include such as "Full-time TA", "Part-time TA" etc. On top of that, there are no means to bypass the validation check for the role, which could be a potential future enhancement

Steps to reproduce

  1. add f/ n/Nigel$lim3 e/123@gmail.com r/s c/
  2. edit 10 f/ r/Full-TimeTA

Suggestion

the 'f/' prefix could potentially allow users to bypass the role validation check

Team's Response

This would be a reasonable feature suggestion, but it's not something we plan for the program. After all, a full-time TA is a TA, and other information can be added as tags.

Besides, implementing this feature would conflict with the prefix detection mechanism.
