fail to fire with default dictionary #277

Is the issue specific to a particular dictionary?  If so, which one? (For
example: DE-EN or German-English).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.once load the app

What is the expected output?
bring up default dictionary

What do you see instead?
previously used dictionary

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
download from Store but cannot find version number. Andriod 4.3

Please provide any additional information below.  Screenshots can be very
helpful.
