Dependent on many interconnected servers rather than one single strong server (network)
Internet has a variety of uses (ex: Entertainment, Communication/Collaboration, Information Retrieval...)
Domain and Subdomain names (ex: docs.google.com; docs = Subdomain, google, is the Domain)
Routers send packets: transfer information--interconnected
IP addresses assign numbers to establish unique individual codes for tech
Bandwith: measures speed of information transfer
HTTPS: secure version of HTTP that encrypts data
