add option to split double letter layout into two panels #192

Context

Currently to type with two thumbs in horizontal layout one has to place the keyboard in the middle of the screen, where it is less likely to get in the way then in the corners. I Imagine on large devices (e.g. tablets) it also can be hard to reach the panel with both hands.

Describe your suggested feature

I suggest allowing the double letter (and letter+number) layout to be split into two separate panels (one for the left and one for the right hand). The location slider could then control how far apart the two halves are (e.g. slider to the left means they are in the screen corners, slider to the right means they meet at the (horizontal) screen center).

Other details

I personally probably would leave the panels a slight bit outside the corners because with the way I typically hold my phone the very corner is hard to reach with the thumb. (so its good to have that adjustable via the position slider)

With a split layout one of the two panels could (as a user option) have a column of number keys instead of duplicating the backspace/enter/copy-paste etc. buttons

+1. Been meaning to make a feature request for this -- glad you made it. I'm getting a foldable device soon so this seems like it'd be very useful to have.
