The "Highlight taken actions" feature is very cool, but it's also very distracting for me. I would like to have it enabled (as I do in Messagease), but I need the ability to reduce how visually prominent the highlights are.
Proposition: add a slider to control the intensity of the highlights. Values will range from 0%–100%, with 0% being a background color identical to the rest of the keyboard (thus making the highlight only show the character typed, rather than actually highlighting the key) and 100% being white (as it is currently).
How it's done in Messagease: In Messagease, the drag indicator color is fully customizable (including transparency), and this color is also used for highlights. Adding this level of customizability is a more-substantial feature request, though, and would maybe be better part of a feature request for full color customization for the keyboard. I'd be satisfied with just a simple intensity slider.
