3beta11 Omnipod Eros Status not set to "no active pod" before activation #1129

Closed happygirlnyc70 closed 2 years ago

Phone: Pixel 4a 5G Android: 12 v3 beta 11

When activating a new Eros pod, the screen shows "Setup in progress (waiting for pod activation)". In this instance I switched from Dash to Eros but I have noticed this screen before. Both the activation and deactivation processes to proceed without issue.

I took the following actions:

  1. deactivated dash pod
  2. opened config builder selected "omnipod" for Eros
  3. connected Orange Link (needed an AAPS restart)
  4. activated Eros

I copied what is probably the most pertinent info here. The entire file is attached with a screenshot as well

This is the notification in the log

05:08:56.904 [OmnipodErosPumpPlugin] D/PUMP: [OmnipodErosPumpPlugin$2.run():269]: Skipping Pod status check because command queue is not empty 05:08:56.906 [RxCachedThreadScheduler-2] D/NOTIFICATION: [NotificationStore.add():60]: Notification received: No active Pod

Deactivation of the Dash pod starts around 5:06AM. Activation of Eros starts around 5:07AM AndroidAPS._2022-01-0303-54-52.txt Screenshot_20211210-222117

The error appears to be the preferences file. The message was removed by downgrading to ver 2.8.2.1 and importing an older preference file that didn't have an active pod.

Reopening this issue because it is not resolved. Will update with more recent logs at next pod change
