2.8.2.1 Master : Bug / Android Auto / Double announcements #743

I'm with AAPS 2.8.2.1 (built on Oct 15th night) but I had the same issue with 2.8.2 master too. I setup Android Auto as described to show AAPS "announcements". When I connect my Samsung S9 (Android 10) phone by USB to my car, Android Auto starts ans I see the phone screen on my car. Everything is working OK.

The little bug is that I see AAPS announcement in double. It pings, shows BG, trend, basal rate on the car screen and about 30 seconds (never really counted) later, pings again and shows the same information a 2nd time. This happens every 5 minutes.

I don't know what more data I can give in order to pin down this little bug. Will AAPS logs help ?

there is no active developement with android auto. There is new API and AAPS support should be rewitten at all

Android Auto will be no more soon... RIP. I'm closing this issue.
