In the new Trio, can this mg/dl be changed where necessary, to mmol/L for those of us that use mmol/L.

JeremyStorring commented 1 month ago

I see what you mean now.

Can you please fill out the template clearly so this can be added in the future?

Thanks.

Thanks Jeremy but I am aware of that change but it’s not the places of my concern . Go to preferences and scroll down under Dynamic Settings, the last setting (Threshold Settings) is in mg/dl - why? Also under OpenAPS SMB Settings, ….when Blood Glucose is Over (mg/dl) -110, same question- Why can’t that be changed to reflect mmol/L. If it doesn’t matter then Y is it there at all. I have used iAPS and it was the same there, I thought it would change with Trio, but not so far.ThanksAndrewSent from my iPadOn May 17, 2024, at 9:58 PM, Jeremy @.***> wrote: Hi @Woodwarrior46, you can already change mg/dl to mmol/L in the app. You can open the settings by clicking the little cog at the bottom right of the screen, then click preferences and "Glucose units" will be at the top of that screen. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately the way the preferences menu was designed in iAPS made addressing things like this difficult. There are plans to update that entire preferences menu, but that will wait until after v1.0.0 is released. Thanks for pointing out the units discrepancies, though, to keep that on the map and make sure it’s included in the future menu update.

Unfortunately for now, you do need to convert those settings to mg/dL Multiplying by 18 is the easiest way to do that.

I suppose adding something about multiplying by 18 for mmol/L users could be useful to add to the pop-up note on those two settings for now until that menu is reworked, though.

Thank you Mike, at least I know it’s on the must do menu. Yes, some pop up with the convention factor would be helpful.ANDREWSent from my iPadOn May 19, 2024, at 5:06 AM, Mike Plante @.***> wrote: Unfortunately the way the preferences menu was designed in iAPS made addressing things like this difficult.
