Does this only occur with iAPS? I'm happy to work with iAPS folks to ensure that the experience is consistent with openaps and AndroidAPS. Seems similar to https://github.com/nightscout/cgm-remote-monitor/issues/8129, but hard to tell.

But since I have observer this in Loop for most of this year, and iAPS is using the Pump code from Loop - then it is possible that this might be a Loop error. But it could also be a Nightscout error.
We struggled more with this using Loop, to be honest - since with iAPS the user is extremely insulin resistent, have moved over to using U-200 insulin and tries to avoid entering carbs and giving meal bolus when possible…
I can send you the NS URL to his site.

Describe the bug The Nightscout Pump pill does show erronous information when the pumps is an Omnipod with less than 50U remaining insulin. When it counts down (which is information received from the pump to the IAGC/Loop/iAPS) it does sometimes show more than 50U for afterwards to continue the countdown. It is obvious that this "more than 50U" is false, and should be avoided. It can make users believe that everything is ok, while they only might have 2.1U remaining insulin in the pump...!
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior The countdown should only go in the direction "less", untill a pump change can be confirmed. Both Loop and iAPS now delivers less events related to a pump change, which is unfortuante. But Jonas Björkert, Marion Barker and Jon Bjørn's work with Loop and iAPS do help with automating the pump change process upload of events to Nightscout.
