Update #121

Hey guys, I just wanted to follow up with you to get an idea of some of the changes that I mentioned before. We have started to advertise the map a little more and I'm about to send out a welcome email to partners who we have included on the map so far. With that said, I want to wait until some of the cosmetic issues have been updated. Most new users probably won't notice some of the more technical issues when just browsing the site, so those aren't as crucial to fix prior to advertising. Specifically, I was interested in seeing where we are at with the transition from active to all projects:

Exporting all projects #91 Sector/Location metrics to include all projects #98 Removing "Active" from all titles that now include "All Projects" #98 New share data blurb #118

@partnersmap Hey! I think all of these fixes are complete and merged. I'll go ahead and deploy them now.

@partnersmap Okay, the app deployment is complete. All that stuff ought to be available on the server now.

It looks good! Can I go back on my bolding on the share data blurb (I might have been a little ambitious...). Can it read like below as one paragraph and no bolding? Just underline for the hyperlinks.

The Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) Partners Map shows where organizations are working, what activities they are doing, and how to contact them for more information. To showcase your projects on the map, please follow our data submission guide and email a completed data form to cww@taskforce.org.

The export, blurb, and titles look good on my end. I'm guessing the metrics for "Project Sectors" "Project Locations" "Some Organizations" will take a while to update?

Oh, you're right -- I should have mentioned that. Those should update overnight.

Sounds great! It'll be good timing. I hoping to push a lot of the advertising next week. Thanks for all work so far to make Partners Map advertisable!

Ah, cool. I'll keep an eye on the caching job tonight to make sure the sidebar statistics update correctly; if anything goes wrong I'll do my best to work it out by Monday.

But it ought to work fine, of course. The one thing I'm not certain about is whether it'll run fast enough to update all the projects every night; there are a lot more projects on the live site now than I realized.
