Urgent!!! Project uploads #153

A user mentioned that since yesterday they have not been able to upload projects. I just went in and did a test run and it gives the message:

"We're sorry There as an error and the page couldn't be loaded."

Is this related to yesterdays fixes?

It still brings me to the "We're sorry There as an error and the page couldn't be loaded."

after clicking "Save Changes" under the new project feature

@partnersmap Okay, thanks. For what it's worth, each time you try this I'm getting a different error on the backend. It looks the same to you, but there's a number of interacting bugs going on here -- when I fix one issue, it exposes another.

I'm not exactly sure why this started happening now. It seems like it must be related to the recent changes, but I don't see how yet. After I get it working I'll investigate.

Sorry it's taking so long. This is an area of the codebase I'm not familiar with.

@partnersmap The immediate crisis seems to be averted, but I'm not sure the underlying issue is solved just yet.

Without getting too deep into the technical weeds, I think it's possible that something unusual happened that caused the wrong version of some library code to get deployed to the servers. If this is true, it means that other parts of the app could also be broken and we just haven't noticed yet.

I'll keep digging into this, and keep an eye out for any other issues.

@partnersmap I'm making a couple more changes relevant to this issue; there might be some intermittent issues with project uploads but they shouldn't last long.
