Project Summary

what is the goal of the project

To create a conversion from the turtle format serialization of NIDM to the JSONLD representation that's easier on human eyes, while preserving the full provenance graph.

Project Significance

why is it valuable, emphasize new capabilities and foundational efforts for improving AFNI, and the larger project of open source neuroimaging analysis

NIDM is a powerful model for capturing provenance of neuroimaging data, workflows and results. Being able to support NIDM in AFNI will enable a set of external applications for individuals using AFNI to process their data. These include visualization and other statistical apps.

Progress Report

what was accomplished at this event

We created an initial context file that is a first pass at creating a context file

why events like this enable these types of projects

It brings together relevant people with face to face bandwidth to hash out complexities of dealing with such projects (taking multiple decisions, coming to consensus via various viewpoints).
