Find followed by Sort does not sort only the filtered results

When I filter the results by name, and I would like to sort these filtered results, I am unable to do so.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Enter find John to receive a multitude of contacts with John in it.
2. Enter sort asc to sort all these various contacts by name

Expected Behaviour:

1. I should have all the contacts with John inside sorted by name. for eg. Adam John should come before Zinger John

Observed Behaviour:

1. I receive all the contacts sorted instead

Suggested Behaviour:

1. Make it such that only the filtered contacts are sorted

Team's Response

As mentioned in the user guide, sorting filtered list is not in the scope of this feature, therefore we would like to not accept this bug.
