Hub Connection not fully functional yet? #3

This is a fantastic application. Thanks for your efforts.

Obviously, firewalls present a bit of a stumbling block, so I was planning
to run the Connection Hub on a machine in my DMZ, then register Servers
with it.

However, when I attempt to use the Server by registering it with a Hub, I
get NPEs.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start Hub on remote machine (seems to work okay).
2. Start Server GUI on local machine, and select "Connect through hub" checkbox
3. Attempt to start the Server.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
NullPointerException in line 161 of XappSimpleAPI. See attached screen shot
for full stack trace.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.1b

Wondering if maybe I am missing some sort of configuration file here?
Thanks again!

The fault was in the Java Remote Control Server. The code had some entries in a
form
that referred to a tunnel server. This feature has been removed from the user
interface but was still required in the hub connection code.

There is a temporary fix now available here:
http://www.onestonesoup.org/ProjectRemoteControlServerHub/HubFix

A full fix will be available in the next release.
I hope this fixes your problem. Thank you for raising this issue. This is what
makes
Open Source work.
