Google app sidebar not working #11686

Using latest nikgapps(as of 2nd Sept 2024) core with crdroid 14.0. The suggestions from the sidebar doesn't open when tapped. The share button doesn't work as well.

@nikhilmenghani I cannot unfortunately test it anymore since I have flashed the full gapps as an workaround. Also it is my main device, so can't wipe. Though I noticed it works for other packages. I guess the google app not being shipped with the gapps make it harder to work with the existing components. The real reason I even tried installing the core (which doesn't fulfill my requirement) was to avoid getting seevault wiped out. The other packages for some reason doesn't like seedvault. After I changed the config to not install DeviceSetup and some other packages, the seedvault remains. The question is should these packages remove a system package like seedvault? I guess it is bug since LOS supplied MindTheGapps that I used with a different device(Los 18.1) didn't touch seedvault. If it is a bug then I would gladly create an another issue about this since this is the root cause of installing the barebones core package. Thanks for your time.
