Investigate the use of Spring Application Context vs. Test Context from Maven Plugin #16

Currently, using a plain Spring spplication context from the Maven plugin 
instead of a test context causes exceptions during context creation.

This is probably due to classloader issues with the Maven plugin. To be 
investigated.
