"dchassin":It appears that the runtime files are installed in /usr/local/share/gridlabd. This seems to clear validation ok, but does not match documentation on the wiki (see http://gridlab-d.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Rt). This may cause server requests for RT files such as gridlabd.js to fail unpredictably.,

Version: trunk --> 3.1 ,
"dchassin":More on this: because typical access to rt files is after a search of GLPATH, as long as the user doesn't specify t/gridlabd.h\ it works ok, provided the rt folder is in the path. Various code example are inconsistent regarding this usage. We also don't indicate that GLPATH should be \/usr/local/lib/gridlabd:/usr/local/share/gridlabd\ although it looks like gridlabd.bin does take case of this ok on Macs for non-server usage. Not sure about linux or server mode in general. In general http://gridlab-d.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Installation_Guide#File_locations_2 is wrong.,

"dchassin":The use of the rt folder was deprecated with the adoption of the msys/cywgin environment for windows.,
The rt folder and its contents are not installed by the installer or by make install. Runtime classes fail as a result.,
