headphone removal not recognized #76

Closed Cyborgscode closed 2 years ago

Cyborgscode commented 3 years ago

If the connected headphones are removed, system does not switch back to speakers.

Workaround: open pavucontrol and adjust in the configuration section the profile from "headphones connected" to "Multi-Channel-Output + Stereo-Input" . execute in a terminal "pineaudio -s " to get speakers back to work.

Edit:

headphones do not work.

headphones "work" sort-of. it's possible to get them work when inserted, but when they are already connected on startup of the desktop, they start really to work with the loudness you expect from them. On the downside the chip driver is panicing around, that the stream rates to not match ( 8000 isn't really usefull for any audio device anymore , maybe a deep coded default? ) and the sound gets interrrupted.

FIXED long ago.

Situation ATM: working with pulseaudio , profile switching has some issues with pipewire.
