try removing the dynamiclib line in the binding.gyp file. I don't have a OSX machine anymore to try it out on, so it might have to do with the version of OSX you are using.

@kirasagi If you have taglib installed, taglib-config does not seem to be in your PATH.

Hi all -- I could use some help.

Please forgive me if I'm barking up the wrong tree, but from what I can tell this is a node-taglib issue.

I'm on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6; node 7.2.1; npm 3.10.10.

I installed python 2.7 with brew install python. I installed taglib 1.11.1 with brew install taglib. I installed node-gyp 3.4.0 with npm install -g node-gyp.

When I run 'npm install taglib --save' I get the output below. I've also tried installing from source and get the same errors.

Thanks for any help.

Hi all -- I could use some help.

Please forgive me if I'm barking up the wrong tree, but from what I can

I'm on OSX El Capitan 10.11.6; node 7.2.1; npm 3.10.10.

I installed python with brew install python;

I installed taglib with brew install taglib, which installed v1.11.1;

I installed node-gyp with npm install -g node-gyp which installed v3.4.0.

Yes that is what I mean. 0.12 is not that old, the version numbers iterated rapidly after the iojs merge.

Just wanted to bump this. Please fix if you can! I could really use this library and don't see an alternative for writing metadata to AIFFs from code (or ffmpeg or some other command-line tool).
