entering invalid route into search box gives on error when trying to load the map #41

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. enter an invalid route number into search box (eg. 999)
2. the map page gives an error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The main page should pop up some text that says "Invalid Route", and should
stay at the main page

issue 52 was a duplicate of this, and was fixed
