HomeMatic: Template device request #246

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I would like to submit a template device request, as described in the wiki at
https://code.google.com/p/openhab/wiki/HomematicAdminItems.

The device is a HM-SEC-SD (Smoke detector). I have three of them which can be
grouped by configuration.

Let me know if you need more information or testing.

Regards

Ingo

Hi Ingo,

thanks for submitting the request. Could you please attach the lines from the
device dump gathered with the help of the "Dump unconfigured devices" admin
item?
If you need help with that one, just drop me a note.

R.,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

sorry I have made the dump but forgotten to attach it.
Hope I did it right.

Ingo

btw, I am using the HM-LAN Adapter together with the BidCos Service through
Wine on my Linux server. The 'hm-sec-sd.log' attached is the logfile from the
BidCos Service (rfd on CCU) after pressing the button on one of the smoke
detectors.

Hi Ingo,

ok, that should work already. It will probably be mapped to an OnOffType.
Try this item definition (or similar):
Switch smoke_test "Smoke: %%" () {homematic="JEQ0171584:1#STATE"}

If it works, I can update the Wiki :-)

Hi Thomas,

ok I got some time testing the device. The switch item is displayed in the UI
(no surprise :-)) but after triggering an alarm nothing happens in openHAB. The
log shows nothing. In the BidCos Service log I can see the alarm.

The device JEQ0171566 is the one tested. The device JEQ0171525 is a team member
