Not a Watney robot, but similar in size and maybe an inspiration for a mod? https://hackaday.com/2022/02/10/a-simple-3d-printed-rover-design maxresdefault /

4 x hoverboard motors, 2 x reflashed hoverboard controller boards as motor drivers. 4 x 350W off torque from standstill and 4wd ;) I Put a chair on this thing, and sat on it. When I hit the trottle, I was thrown off ;)

Tried your new image to get to know webrtc and h264 streaming, and se how you solved audio. Is going to be great to ditch mjpeg-streamer on my 4G rover, it eats bandwidth ;)

Would be great with support for the compute module 4, so we could use 2 cams. Reverse cam would be a great addon. Have that on another robot build I run on a modified Zerobot software setup.

This has been a Fantastic project, Thank you for sharing. Here is my Watney build, currently living within our local library that I volunteer at helping kids get into 3D printing and STEM learning. Thank you for this nice project ♥️

@eerison nice build! What kind of camera did you use? It looks like it doesn't quite fit into the housing.

Hey nik

I am using this one

Bewinner Camera Module Board for Raspberry Pi B 3/2 2592 x 1944 Resolution 5MP High Resolution, Uses OV5647 Chip, Wide Angle of 175°

Yeah, it is bigger then in the project, and it didn't fit well, I tried to build a new house, but It didn't work 😅
