You should update README.md :)

kallisti5 commented 10 years ago

I did in the branch in working in :-). Lots of major api changes in openpgpjs... I see why you dropped it.

hebbet commented 10 years ago

Maybe you should updated it in master, too.

guys, I'm interesting in this project. Who can tell me, where the latest "stable\unstable" versions are? https://github.com/kallisti5/rc_openpgpjs - is it stable?

GwynethLlewelyn commented 4 years ago

Hm! Seems that https://github.com/kallisti5/rc_openpgpjs is dead too (@kallisti5 even removed it completely from his list of repositories) — I'm using https://github.com/galaxor/rc_openpgpjs, which has seen some work being done...

@GwynethLlewelyn hi! Sorry, I don't even remember what happened to this one. Given my comment on June 13th, 2014 I likely realized a lot of work was needed and stopped working on it.

I generally wouldn't "delete" unfinished work, but who knows what I was thinking in 2014 :-)

@kallisti5 I feel you 😁 I was just curious why the sudden drop of all projects that attempted to bring some form of PGP/GnuPG email encryption/signing to Roundcube. I'm the kind of person that is always hesitating between using a free S/MIME certificate or use GnuPG; currently, I've noticed that the support for GnuGP (either via OpenPGP.js or other libraries...) has increased, and that looking up keys is easier than ever, so I was attempting to give my Roundcube users the option to use it as well.

While the API on OpenPGP.js seems straightforward enough, I'm pretty much clueless about either how Roundcube works or how OpenPGP.js works. Putting it in another way: I have no clue how exactly this plugin passes information via JS to OpenPGP.js and how that, in turn, communicates with, say, Mailvelope.
