After selecting the file to import and clicking 'import' on subs page, the message 'we're sorry but something went wrong' comes up. Lizzie

I sent you an email with the correct format. This might be a db issue or might not. Can you confirm the csv is in the same format and if it is can you send it to me. I'm assuming that the Fri and Wed are now Thu and Tues ...

LeedsBreadCo-op commented 8 years ago

Yep, the format of the csv was based on the one you sent over - I've just tried it again with the days as Wed and Fri, and as Tue and Thu and the same thing's happening. Will email file to you.

LeedsBreadCo-op commented 8 years ago

Here's the file - one with days as Wed/Fri and one with days as Tue/Thu...(in email to your gmail)

Thanks! Lizzie x

Ok, so the db issue will stop this working. I've raised a ticket with Heroku and they've fixed it.

Two things stopped this working:

You can fix both yourself now! If you add the new collection points on the website and then add them exactly the same here, save it, and let me know I'll check it and push it live.

OK great, thanks - I've added the collection points to the coding but still getting error message when I click 'New Collection Point' on this page http://leeds-bread-coop.herokuapp.com/admin/collection_points so can't add the new ones (they are on our current website already).

Two things stopped this working:

  • invalid emails (robins and caths aren't a valid email, just choose one)
  • there are new collection points "I" and "J" (and the new bread type MH but I guess that is Malthouse).

You can fix both yourself now! If you add the new collection points on the website and then add them exactly the same here https://github.com/nikolai-b/leeds-bread-coop/blob/master/app/models/subscriber.rb#L168, save it, and let me know I'll check it and push it live.

Stiiill can't get it to work, sorry! I don't know what I'm doing wrong..it's coming up with error page when I click import. Also, there were 2 x 'Opposite (Chapel Allerton)' on this page https://github.com/nikolai-b/leeds-bread-coop/blob/master/app/models/subscriber.rb#L168 so I've just changed 'B' to 'Cornerstone Housing Co-op'
