There are some limitations of the borrow checker not covered by this RFC:

• Methods that invoke one another but only use some of the fields of a struct
  • e.g. the problem discussed in this internals thread
• A struct that owns data and has references into that data (e.g., what is quasi-solved by the owning_ref crate)
