Getting Unknown Error when trying to ReAuthorize #38

Like others thanks for the work on this integration. This was a life saver as I had Cync devices in my garage and often they would be left on over night!

I recently added 2 bulbs and tried to ReAuthorize and I got Unknown Error image

Looking in the logs and see the following.

Interesting enough, the integration works with the current devices. The cync app itself works from my network Alexa integration with sync works but that's not calling cync from my network.

Finally, I tried to hit No and Submit on the ReAuth screeen and got the same error.

thanks!

Did you recently update the integration to the newest version? If so, did you delete your old installation of the integration and add it again? If you didn't delete the old configuration, the new version may have some conflicts with the old configuration. You just need to delete the old install and re-login. That will probably take care of it.

The errors you are seeing in the log are not related to this problem. Those errors have to do with the cync server disconnecting from the integration. This will happen if you log in to the Cync app on your phone. The integration reconnects within 15 seconds when this occurs.

I tried deleting the integration first and reading. No luck. Then I redownload via hacs and setup the integration. No luck.

Now I have the following error. Invalid or unsupported Cync configuration, please ensure there is at least one WiFi connected Cync device in your Home(s)

It would be helpful if you could run my cync_data.py python script (on your laptop/home computer, not your Home Assistant instance). Then post the cync_data.json file that is generated. If there is sensitive information, you might want to redact it, but it would preferable if you leave the file mostly unaltered (for instance, changing email addresses listed in the file would be fine and won't affect the debug process).

Well fixed it. I noticed outbound connections failing in general so I moved my ZigBee controller further away and all is good.

Sorry for the the issue report, though it would be good to know if cync has any rate limits.
