Upon adding the integration I can enter user/pw and recieve the 2 factor email but upon entering the code get "Invalid Cync user credentials or two factor code" everytime.

Having the same issue. I receive the 2 factor code, but when I enter it I get the same message. I tried resetting the password, but no go

I am also having running into the 2fa error. I have removed and re-added repository/integration and no matter how many valid 2fa codes I enter it still fails on validation.

any movement here? still an issue and can't get it working.

I also had this issue. I tried signing into the Cync website here: https://home.cyncsmart.com/en-us/login and it gave me a similar error as in HA. I reset my Cync password and just in case I set a shorter password with no strange symbols, then tried again in HA and it worked. No clue if it was the length or the symbols but it worked.

shorter password

This worked for me too.

When I tried changing my password I realized it complaining about password requirements (limiting length to 16 characters) and when resetting through the login I chose to keep to upper and lower case plus numbers to fulfill the requirements and now I can connect via the integration!

Seems like possibly an issue where setting up the account didn't check my password was "short enough"...

I would love to buy you some coffees if you would please fix the Cync integration for Home Assistant. I can’t get past the two factor authentication. Is this normal ? My password has no special characters, only 12 long, letters, numbers and caps.

I had the same issue, and that fixed it. I believe my previous password fit within the parameters of the length, number, and symbol requirements. Despite this, after changing my password, it fixed the issue and now the 2-factor authentication worked perfectly.

Thank you @n8detar!
